but there is a way to work with your body that goes beyond traditional methods.

“Movement is life, life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.”

What is Feldenkrais?

During this workshop, you will:

  • understand the nature of chronic pain

  • learn the role of fear, tension, and bottled-up emotions in the process, and the ways to break the pain cycle

  • discover new ways of moving that feel easy, enjoyable, and pain-free

Feldenkrais is a method of somatic education and it is all about experiencing

It uses gentle, mindful movement to retrain your nervous system, breaking

the cycle of chronic pain. Neuroscience has shown that pain is not always caused by structural damage but often by learned neural pathways.

Pain, like a fire alarm, can sometimes get stuck in the “on” position,

misinterpreting signals from the body, and you can learn to get it back

to a normal, healthy way of functioning.

As you explore yourself in movement during the Feldenkrais practice, you'll calm down your nervous system, expand your movement capabilities, and start rewiring old habits that might be keeping you stuck in pain.

You’ll experience how subtle, simple movements can lead to profound changes, starting right where you are.

“What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains.

What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity.”

Moshe Feldenkrais

This workshop is open to anyone looking for a holistic, non-invasive way

to manage pain and improve quality of life, no matter the level of your fitness, age or physical limitations.

The only prerequisite is for you to be able to lower yourself

down to the floor and stand back up, either independently or with the support

of something to lean on.

Just bring on a willingness to explore and listen to your body. 🌿

Limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

"Such a profound experience! The joy of being present and comfortable in my body, the ease of movement, the feeling of being enough..."

Hello! I'm Iryna.

One effect of returning to your body, of exploring it with care and patience, is a rising feeling of spontaneity and unconditional joy. It is not related to the shape of the body. Nor to the physical capabilities. It's feeling good in your own skin, feeling secure. Feeling at home.

At that moment, a desire to move, to dance, to live to the best of your capacity is being born.

This is what I do as a somatic bodywork therapist specialising in tension and chronic pain relief through Mindful Movement. I accompany you on your way back Home.
The one within.
