Pain Therapy to Unlearn Your Pain
Living with chronic pain can feel overwhelming and isolating, especially when it’s hard to understand why the pain won’t go away. But I want you to know that your pain is real, and you don’t have to face it alone.
What you’re feeling may not be caused by injury or physical damage, but by the way your brain has learned to interpret signals from your body.

This type of pain is called neuroplastic pain, and while it may feel discouraging, there’s hope. The brain is incredibly adaptable, and with the right approach, it can unlearn these patterns and help you find lasting relief.
For lasting relief from chronic pain, we must address both the mind and the body. Research shows that about 90% of chronic pain cases are partly or entirely neuroplastic in origin - meaning the brain misinterprets harmless signals from the body as dangerous, creating ongoing pain. Common examples of neuroplastic pain include:

In neuroplastic pain, the brain forms a loop of pain responses, often in response to stress, emotions, or past experiences, even when no injury is present. The good news? The brain can also unlearn these patterns.
Our pain therapy approach combines cognitive understanding with somatic bodywork. Techniques like Feldenkrais Method, pain reprocessing therapy, and emotional awareness work together to help you gently retrain your brain, rewiring it to stop associating normal sensations, emotions, or movements with pain.

By engaging both the cognitive and physical levels, this approach bypasses mental barriers and taps into the nervous system directly. It helps release patterns of stress and anxiety that can unconsciously perpetuate pain, guiding you toward a more balanced state.​
​As someone who has personally overcome chronic pain, I integrate my own experience with pain therapy, Feldenkrais Method, and other somatic therapy techniques in my work. Drawing from my research background in natural sciences, I offer a deeply informed and compassionate approach to healing.
